Reimagining the Cornerstone Program - Public Documentation: Home

Reimagining the Cornerstone Program

This site hosts documentation related to the Cornerstone Program revision process, started in Fall 2018. Here, the community will find materials that inform our process and documentation that reflects our progress. We encourage faculty, students, and staff to bookmark this page as it will be updated throughout the Reimagining Project.

In this guide you will find:

  • Home page: updated timeline for the GenEd revision process and notifications about opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to participate in the process and provide feedback.
  • Mission Statement Draft: updated to reflect the most recent draft mission statement we propose adopting as part of the new GenEd program.
  • Sample Program Drafts: sample program drafts for review and response by the campus community. Once a single program proposal draft is available, this page will be updated to reflect that proposal.
  • Listening Session Documentation: provides an overview of the sessions conducted in 2018-2019 to obtain initial feedback to inform the reimagining process.
  • Survey Documents: outlines the survey process conducted in Spring 2019, along with the survey instruments distributed to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Resources & Readings: an evolving set of links, organized thematically, that we have collected throughout the GenEd process and that inform campus conversations.
