Historical collections for the National Digital Library, from the Library of Congress. Provides free and open access through the Internet to written and spoken words, sound recordings, still and moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that document the American experience.

Provides access to 1.25 million digital images and to more than 600,000 group- and item-level descriptions covering about 75% of the 14 million photographs, prints, posters, cartoons, and architectural materials in the Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division holdings.
