EDU Resources for Practicum: MTEL

Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL)

Stonehill requires students to take the specific required MTELs for each licensure as a prerequisite for the final practicum scheduled during senior year. DESE requires teacher candidates to pass each of the required MTELs before being granted a teaching license.  

The table below includes information regarding tests required for each licensure area for which Stonehill is approved as an educator preparation program.
