Stonehill has several unique archival collections. In additional to preserving the history of Stonehill in the College Archives, we also have the Tofias Archives which contains 783 shovels and over 1500 linear ft of records relating to the Ames Shovel Company, The Ames Family Papers, the Ames True-Temper Collection. Other collections include Speaker Joseph Martin’s political papers, author and scholar Michael Novak’s personal papers, The Stanley A. Bauman Photograph Collection, a collection of over 200 shoes and records related to the American Shoe Industry, The Germano Cartoon Collection and the Daily Homestead Archaeological Collection. Archives staff have offices in the College Archives (room 208 of the Martin Institute).
