In Text Citations

For in text citations you will want to put the author date of publication and page number in parenthesis right after the text you are citing.

For example

(Hook 2018, p. 201)

(Jotzo 2018, p. 814)

(Tankersley 2018, p. B3)

 

 

Bibliography Examples

For the bibliography you will list all of the sources you use at the end of the paper in alphabetical order. 

There are 3 main types of sources you may use books, journal articles and newspapers.

Here are examples of each:

Books

Hook, Steven W., and John Spanier. American foreign policy since World War II. Washington, DC: CQ Press, 2018.

Journal Articles

Jotzo, Frank, Joanna Depledge, and Harold Winkler. 2018. "US and International Climate Policy under President   Trump." Climate Policy 18, no. 7: 813-817, doi10.1080/14693062.2018.1490051

Newspapers

Tankersley, Jim. 2018. "The Tax Postcard: You’ll Need Patience, and an Envelope." New York Times, June 26. B3. Academic Search Complete, EBSCOhost (accessed July 10, 2018).
