Reimagining the Cornerstone Program - Public Documentation: Survey Documents

Faculty Survey 2019

Using information gathered during the fall and spring listening sessions, our survey instrument asked faculty to provide three types of feedback:

  • Responses to the idea generated in the listening sessions
  • Open-ended thoughts on specific, current program requirements
  • Overall feedback on the existing program

As of May 2019, no changes were made to the existing program; any ideas for adding or deleting existing requirements included in this survey were generated by faculty participants in the listening sessions. The Task Force used the data collected from this survey to develop a more holistic picture of the faculty's ideas for a reimagined program, and to inform the creation of sample program plans.

Student Survey 2019

The Cornerstone Survey, posters, and prizes were designed and selected by students in Prof. Mike Sale’s Spring 2019 Project Management Course. Survey data was collected anonymously and used by the Assistant Dean of General Education and the General Education Task Force to inform the creation of sample program plans. The survey was distributed to all students enrolled at the college in April 2019.
