Using HillSearch

You can use MacPhaidin Library's HillSearch catalog to search for print and electronic books, journal articles available in print and online, DVDs, musical recordings and much more. Reference librarians have prepared on online tutorial to help you navigate this catalog.

For the purposes of this assignment, you could start with a search for "African Americans" and "criminal justice".

As the image below illustrates, that search returnns 15 results for a variety of materials including print books, electronic books, articles and multimedia materials. When you have found a resource that is of particular interest to you, examine the full record of the article and pay particular attention to the list of subject terms related to the work.
