MLA 8th does not require that you provide a date of access. This information can be included if you wish. The date of access is placed after the URL.
MLA favors including the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) if given, over the URL. DOI are usually included in database record or front page of the journal article.
Ask for assistance if you cannot locate the DOI assigned to the article.
