Joint Committees of the House and Senate

The web pages for the active joint committees of the House of Representatives and Senate has information about and the history of the committee. In addition there are links to the chairperson and the members of the House who serve on each committee. Congressional hearings and documents are available, but each committee's coverage may be different and a link to Thomas.gov may be included in the web site. A committee's web site may include their meeting schedule, links to RSS feeds, webcasts and have a FAQ page.

Joint Economic Committee
The Committee responsible for reporting the current economic condition of the United States and for making suggestions for improvement to the economy.
Joint Committee on Printing
The Committee oversees the operations of the U.S. Government Printing Office, whose support is essential to the legislative process of the Congress. The GPO also serves by law as the principal printing organization for Federal agencies
Joint Committee on Taxation
The Committee is involved in every aspect of the tax legislative process. This includes Assisting with development and analysis of legislative proposals; preparing official revenue estimates of all tax legislation considered by the Congress; investigating various aspects of the Federal tax system.
Joint Committee on the Library
The Committee has oversight of the operations of the Library of Congress, as well as management of the National Statuary Hall Collection, the U.S. Botanic Garden, and works of fine art in the Capitol.
